For sure I get excited to play new titles on my Xbox One while the game has been downloading. I can’t wait a long to get it downloaded and then start. But, thanks to the July Xbox One update, the company has released the new Xbox One July update for it users to provide the most promised features.

While there has more came with the new July Xbox One update, but the peak feature new FastStart and Groups. Once you update your device to the latest update, you will be able to use new FastTrack and Groups feature. Let me tell you what is FastStart in Xbox One, the new FastStart function let users quickly launch the game even after downloading a small amount of game.

If you haven’t updated your Xbox One console then go to the Settings > All settings> Select System > Updates > Update console. That’s it! Now your console is ready to use the new FastStart function.

Here’s what Xbox team said, “FastStart works by identifying which files are needed to begin playing and prioritizes the download of those files first, enabling you to quickly jump into full-fidelity gameplay while the remainder of your title downloads in the background.”

Well, everyone is saying that FastStart is similar to Sony’s “play as you download,” but Microsoft calls “ready to start”. The company said that it varies from game to game.  In some games, the player can only the menu and loading home screen while downloading process continue.

In order to use the new FastStart feature, the company recommends a minimum 20Mbps internet speed.  Well, it doesn’t improve your download speed, but you can start playing the game while the download in progress.

Another highlight is Groups which allow users to sort games and apps on your Xbox console. Furthermore, you can also create groups like your pins and group together you like, give names, and assign them to home.

Additionally, there is more search option which you can use to get search anywhere on the screen by pressing Y. The update also improves mixer share controller so that you can use mouse and keyboard support on PC, multi-touch support for touch-enabled devices, a viewer leaderboard to show the most active users on a stream, and full-screen broadcasting.

There is also a full-screen broadcasting feature has been added and the update also improves console broadcasting and quality and stability so you can efficiently chat with other players.
